Say Yes! To School MealsFood costs are up! Fuel costs are up! What’s a parent to do? School meals are still a good value and beneficial in so many ways:
Brain Fuel: Kids who regularly eat school meals have higher test scores, greater attention spans, better attendance rates, less tardiness, and fewer discipline problems.
Nutrition: School meals give students the recommended nutrients for their age groups, and meet all established nutritional guidelines.
Time Saver: No time to make breakfast or lunch? No worries—tasty, healthy meals are already planned and prepared for your child.
Choices: Students can choose from a variety of meals every day. Visit our website at www.ccsd.net/foodservice to view menus and learn more!

Medical Insurance ReminderWhile the Clark County School District takes appropriate measures to ensure the safety of students, accidents do occur. The district does not provide accident medical insurance coverage for students. This means that you are responsible for any bills from a school related injury to your child. As a service to you and your child, information about these programs is being made available through your child’s school, and parents are encouraged to obtain such insurance for them. Parents are reminded that insurance is required for student-athletes, and proof of insurance must be presented for eligibility.
External Credit ProceduresExternal credits are high school credit earned from an academic institution outside of Clark County School District – this does not include Virtual High School (VHS) or Academy for Individualized Instruction (AIS). External credits MUST BE APPROVED by the A-Tech Administration before enrolling. Such credits will not be accepted without administrative approval prior to enrolling.
TO ASSURE YOU WILL RECEIVE CREDIT FOR ANY EXTERNAL COURSE WORK YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE STEPS OUTLINED BELOW :
1. MUST SEE YOUR COUNSELOR TO INITIATE EXTERNAL CREDIT APPLICATION PROCESS.
2. COMPLETE EXTERNAL CREDIT FORM AND RETURN IT TO YOUR COUNSELOR.
3. DO NOT ENROLL UNTIL YOU RECEIVE ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL.
