The Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club Founders

Eligibility: CCSD seniors who have a minimum 2.5 GPA and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary college or university may apply may apply for this scholarship. Preference will be given (but not required) to Hawaiian/part Hawaiian students and dependents of members of the Hawaiian Civic Club. Student must attend the college/university full-time by taking a minimum of twelve credit hours per semester. Clark County School Nurse Organization Scholarship

Sponsor: Clark County School Nurse Organization
Amount: Quantity: TBD, (Scholarships of at least $500.00 will be awarded)
Eligibility: High school senior who is enrolled in a Clark County School – public or private school with enough credit to be graduating with a non-adjusted diploma, 3.5 cumulative GPA or greater, is accepted into a college with the intended degree to be a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) pursuant to sitting for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Eligibility: Senior, Asian ethnicity. Must include an ethnicity background statement. American Legion Legacy Scholarship (National)

Sponsor: American Legion Legacy
Amount: Up to 10-$5,000 each may be awarded.
Eligibility: Child/children or legally adopted child/children or a child of a spouse by a prior marriage or dependent child as defined by the United States Armed Services for active duty personnel of the United States military and National Guard, and military reservists who were federalized and die on active duty on or after September 11, 2001. Scholarship is for undergraduate study at an accredited institution of higher education within the United States, except where the recipient is from a possession of the United States, in which case he/she can select a university or college in that possession or in the United States. The recipient must be accepted or enrolled a full-time student to receive his/her scholarship funds. The number and amount of the scholarship awards will be determined by the income derived from the American Legion September 11 Memorial Scholarship Trust. The Guildscholar Scholarship Program for Visually Impaired (National)

Sponsor: The Jewish Guild for the Blind
Amount: 12-16 – $15,000
Eligibility: High School Juniors. With recipients selected and scholarships awarded later in their senior year. Complete the online application. Proof of legal blindness. Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency. Documentation of academic achievement. Three letters of recommendation. Two personal statements: one about the applicant and the second describing the influence of an outstanding teacher on your education. Your chosen college must be accredited by a body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
