The Chicago Architecture Foundation announced the results of their National High School Design Competition on December 16, 2016 and our A-TECH seniors have represented our school well. Students were challenged to design and document the concept of affordable housing. A-TECH had 5 of the top 10 entries this year. Antonio Trejo tied for first place and Andrew Shepherd placed third. Carmen Bushorn, Caden Franc and Diego Samaniego were recognized in the top 10. Antonio and Andrew will be recognized at the Ward 5 City Council meeting in March and in the Review Journal.
Please take a moment to congratulate them if you have them in class they have worked really hard for this recognition.
